TRANSIT & MOBILITY / CUSTOM FABRICATION
Commercial Bike Racks
Practical parking starts with the bicycle and the site.
A useful bike rack supports the bicycle and leaves room to lock the frame without obstructing circulation. Metal profiles, spacing and fixing details should follow the intended users and the available parking area.
FUNCTION / FORM / SITE
Define the complete product scope.
Potential products include individual inverted-U racks, rail-mounted groups and purpose-designed parking loops. A decorative shape still needs usable locking points, stable contact and sufficient clearance for pedals and handlebars. Identify cargo bikes and other larger cycles where they are part of the brief.
For indoor rooms, assess entry doors, aisle widths and cleaning access. Outdoors, account for drainage, snow-clearing routes and corrosion exposure. Fixing into pavers is different from anchoring into a suitable concrete foundation; the visible surface does not establish the structural substrate.
PRODUCT OPTIONS
Examples to shape your brief.
Individual parking loops
Standalone tube or plate forms for entrances, courtyards and streetscapes.

Multiple parking positions on a coordinated base assembly with defined anchorage and handling.
Indoor bicycle rooms
Fabricated rails and parking components coordinated with room geometry and circulation.
DESIGN / PROCUREMENT
Resolve the details that affect the result.
User fit
Specify bicycle types, locking method and the required number of usable spaces rather than only a rack count.
Parking layout
Show approach paths, rack orientation and clearance to walls, doors, benches and adjacent bicycles.
Finish and anchorage
Discuss galvanized or coated steel, stainless steel, contact wear, anchor access and the substrate beneath the paving.

QUESTIONS / ANSWERS
Before you specify.
Can racks fit a specific bicycle room?
Provide a dimensioned plan including doors, columns, services and circulation. The usable capacity depends on the entire layout, not simply how many racks fit on a wall.
Can a custom outline be fabricated?
A custom profile can be reviewed for manufacturability and practical bicycle support. Maintain accessible locking points and avoid sharp edges or wheel-only restraint.
Are high-density mechanical racks included?
Lifting mechanisms, moving parts and operational validation require a separate product scope. They are not implied by a quote for simple fabricated parking rails.
What information is needed for pricing?
Include usable parking capacity, a layout, preferred rack style, material and finish, fixing surface, quantities and delivery location.
