ALBERTA / PROJECT PLANNING

Turn the Alberta site requirements into a fabrication brief.

An Alberta city may identify the buyer without identifying the final installation site. For commercial buildings, manufacturing or equipment-related work, distinguish office contact, receiving yard and end-use location before defining supply and site services.

PROCUREMENT / COORDINATION

Before the quotation is prepared.

01

Name the end-use site

State whether the work is for an urban facility or a separate operating site. Include operator access requirements, receiving arrangements and responsibility for any onward transport.

02

Describe operating duty

Provide loads, temperatures, exposure and interfaces specified by the designer. A general request for industrial metalwork is not enough to select a grade, joint or finish.

03

Coordinate shutdowns and release

Identify hold points, inspection documents and planned outage windows. Confirm readiness and access with the site operator before scheduling installation or delivery resources.

Coverage is reviewed for the scope.

Inquiries are welcome for the listed cities and other communities in Alberta. Fabrication, transport and installation services are subject to project feasibility and availability; the directory does not establish a local facility or guaranteed service area.

Identify the actual delivery and end-use locations, drawings, quantities, receiving equipment and required site activities. Responsibilities, acceptance requirements and any on-site services must be agreed for the project.
